Did you really think that staff full of rehab pitchers would last the season? It about time for Seager to have another stint on the DL too

Good for Freddy. It will be fine if he or Ronald gets MVP it’s really just between them.

I probably would today too. Ronald’s best shot is to close out the year strong on power.

The #Nats just won again. 11 of their last 14 games. 16 of their last 21 games. Five straight series. They are only eight games under .500.

I'll reiterate, if Ronald gets 35/70, 35/75, he's winning the MVP.

if he wins but finishes 3rd in WAR, would you agree that he won based soley on narrative and emotion as opposed to objective, fact based, merit?

Brewers principal owner Mark Attanasio expressed optimism about the status of negotiations involving renovations to American Family Field and indicated Saturday he wants to make sure the team stays in Milwaukee.

Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers, a Democrat, proposed a plan in which the state would spend $290 million in repairs and the Brewers would extend their lease by 13 years, through 2043. Republican Assembly Speaker Robin Vos said that plan wouldn't work and indicated he wanted to come up with a deal that included a longer commitment from the Brewers to remain in Milwaukee.

I'm just going to take a moment and pause for the cause to give some appreciation to Chad for making these threads each week all season - I see ya.

If he wins, it'll be based on numbers and production, and the fact that he will also accomplish something that's never been done before (35-40 HR/70 SB's). frick WAR in this case.

You WAR nerds are killing the HoF and end-of-season awards.

So OPS, steals(which puts pressure on the defense), and .BA don't mean anything?.It's all about WAR, eh? That's the all-mighty stat, the end-all-be-all, the metric that everything else is measured by.

Keep blowing Betts and anyone else that wears a Dodger uniform, you're good at that.

Acuña will win MVP if he gets to 35/70, 35/75.
