Yankees have Tampa and Astros coming up, the Yankees have the best winning percentage against teams that are .500 or better this season

Jeter Downs called up. Will only be a cup of coffee as Kike and Arroyo are both due back any day.

And Aaron Boone actually looks like he knows what he's doing. These Yankees can still bomb the opponent but their defense, pitching, and ability to play small ball make them so much more lethal. Could World Title 28 be that far off?

With Mookie out, Dodgers looking to acquire RHH OFer at minimal prospect cost to platoon with Eddy Alvarez in right, source says. Could look for bigger piece in trade later or possibly promote Miguel Vargas, a highly regarded 3B prospect who has 10 homers and an .851 OPS at AAA.

I joke so, the pitching staff is solid with Cortes and Taillon leading the charge. Montgomery has been solid as always

Yep, Nasty Nestor is a revelation. That kid on the end of the relief line, Clay Holmes, is just as amazing. He has pretty much usurped Chapman out of the 9th inning. This is a very good Yankees team for sure.

Freddie Freeman returns to the ATL this weekend. The Dodgers are playing like arse on offense as of late. We’ll see if they decide to show up.

You play the schedule in front of you brother.

LMAO at Mets fans talking trash in June.

Gonna be weird seeing Freddie in another uniform. Hopefully the crowd on Friday gives him the rousing, long standing ovation that he deserves his first AB though I'm sure you'll have some mouth-breathers booing him.

He also gets his ring on Friday.

And yours has been absolute shite for the last month, congrats on gaining 5 games. Good job

You started this, not me. All I did was say I was getting to watch the Mets tomorrow night. I have been nothing but complementary of the Braves during your impressive winning streak and would have continued to be so.

Did what we had to do. I wouldn't get too comfy w/that lead if I were you. The Mets will Mets it up somehow.

As a lifelong Mets fan, its my natural inclination to expect the worst...Not saying we are going to win division, but, this team does feel different from last year and years past.

Mets win, beat the Marlins 6-0 to win the series, 11th shutout of season, tied for most in the majors with the Yankees. Back to 21 games over .500, best record in NL and second overall to the Yankees.
