Fine with all but this one. If I want a lefty-lefty matchup in a big time spot in the game I shouldn't have to leave him in to get blasted by the RH right behind him.

3 batter minimum for pitchers

eta : wait...sooo you can no longer have a righty face a righty then immediately swap to a lefty vs lefty? seems like a pretty big change here. dont like this either.

You want to shorten the game but put in a rule that may lead to more hits and runs being scored.

A pitching switch takes like 5 minutes, and is time that is not baseball, at least the rest is baseball.

Find relievers that aren't LOOGY's

This just seems weird and unnecessary.

I mean you can, they just need to face 3 batters or make it to the half inning.

Baseball is an untimed sport. The average baseball game lasts 3 hours. College and pro football games are regularly pushing 3:30. If a baseball game lasts long as a fan you get more entertainment for your money and the teams make more revenue from concessions. No one is forcing you to stay in the park and no one is stopping you from changing the channel. People uninterested in baseball at 3 hours won’t be inclined to watch at 2:45.

They aren't, teams will now have to strategize around it, just like any rule.

Will people construct more L-R-L type lineups because clubs may not be able to pitch around it?

Dude, it matters, especially to the casual fan. I'm about a big a fan of baseball as it comes and long breaks between national televised games are the worst.

Can Rob Manfred quit trying to reinvent the game

Screw thst 3 batter minimum rule. There’s a reason why in baseball a player can’t reenter the game once pulled. If anything make rosters smaller not bigger therefore making managers risk running out of players if they constantly change pitchers every batter. Goddamn Manfred is scaring me thst he might actually do the defensive shift rule or the stupid extra inning rule with players already on base in the future. This game has been played for 150 years don’t need to rethink the whole thing

yea, baseball already has lots of rules like that. Once a pitcher leaves a game, they can't come back. Wouldn't it be better for "strategy" if you could bring in a pitcher to face 1 guy, then bring the starter back in?
