Mississippi State University Head Football Coach Mike Leach had a personal health issue at his home earlier today (Sunday, Dec. 11, 2022). That issue led to a decision to transfer Coach Leach to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson by ambulance. (1 of 4)

That is the extent of information that MSU has available regarding Coach Leach’s condition, and the university will make no other comment at this time other than to say that the thoughts and prayers of the university are with Mike and Sharon and their family. (2 of 4)

They were so many rumors at the end of the season that he was battling some unknown health concerns. Hopefully the Pirate will shake this off and get right back at it

Don’t let him out in Jackson or he will be back in the hospital.

Are we sure a Mississippi State coach should be getting care from an Ole Miss run facility?

Imagine your life depending on care from a hospital in Jackson, MS. Leach always was a gambler.

Gunshot victims in Jackson, MS receive some of the best care in the world. UMMC’s Trauma Center are experts at saving those lives.

I know Jackson jokes are popular on here, but that is a really big advanced hospital. Plus they have their own well so they aren't reliant on Jackson water (only reason they can reliably function).

I remember reading a story about some of the best military surgeons being trained at facilities in the D.C. area

I imagine Jackson is similar

You want to receive trauma care from physicians and nurses who trained in places like NO, Jackson, L.A., Baltimore, DC, Oakland, Chicago, etc.

If I’m ever dying of a panic induced Xanax withdrawal attack, I want to go to a hospital with Mandeville doctors or those trained in Naples Florida. Anywhere with alot of white housewives

If I have a physical trauma like gunshot wound or anything else like a bad car wreck send me to Nola or Jackson
