Michigan would have no good wins if they lose to OSU.

They’ll all throw out all kind of stupid shite this time of year. Michigan is going to get blown out. But even if they lose a close one, they don’t belong.

Both of their strength of schedules are so bad, the loser is absolutely eliminated. There is no argument

Maybe. Let's see how this all plays out.

Crazy that a well known member of the media is too fricking retarded to understand why bama went in 2017.
Well not that crazy I guess, but disappointing maybe.

Why is it so far fetched?
Current CFP Rankings:
1. Georgia
2. Ohio State
3. Michigan
4. TCU
5. Tennessee
6. LSU
7. USC
#4 TCU loses in Big 12
#5 Tennessee is out
#6 LSU loses to Georgia
#7 USC loses to ND
Thats not all that hard to imagine. If that happens...YES...both Ohio St and Michigan will be in the playoff. A 1 loss Michigan is not being jumped by a 2 loss non champion. This is not some crazy scenario.

My post was taking umbrage with teh "alabama exemption" part, becuase that's the dumbest talking point that somehow still exists regarding the playoffs. You actually even touched on it in your post, in referencing a 2-loss team not jumping a 1-loss team with a solid resume. That was the point of my post.

If the loser didn’t make it in 2006 in a 1 v 2 game before people really loved the SEC they aren’t making it in 2022

You created a scenario where four things have to happen. Eisen says the loser should be in even if everyone else wins out.

It's not outrageous like some posters will say.
If OSU loses, but ND wins against USC, they will have 2 really good wins.
That is the better shot for the B1G.
If Michigan loses, they need some help, but not too much. 2-3 teams losing and they are right around being in. USC/TCU/Clemson/LSU. 2/4 of those lose, which isnt nuts at all, and you are looking at a 1 loss OSU or Michigan being ahead of 2 loss teams

Yeah two teams then vs four teams now. Yes they were #3 but they were left out of the system in place in 2006. They’ll be #5 and left out of the system in place in 2022.

Didn't Eisen graduate from Michigan?

This is dumb. Why a rematch? In the same vein, if LSU were to miraculously beat UGA, and you have OSU/Mich, TCU, USC, and even Clemson with one loss (all conference champs) then UGA needs to stay home without a conference championship or LSU needs to stay home with 2 losses (depending on the committee's criteria of selection). There's no need for a rematch if things fall that way.
