What a lot of people here fail to realize is that you wouldn't even know who many of these players are if not for Mel Kiper and guys like him.
You guys base your own draft projections on the work guys like Mel Kiper has done.
Some of you act like he doesn't know what he's doing, but he's the one coming up with this stuff from nothing. He's actually predicting what teams are going to do. You guys are just making changes to his predictions that he's already laid out.

well his final mock had the first 3 correct and 4 of the first 5.

You're the same dude that watches a football game and bitches about the playcalling, when all you know is running it up the middle and throw the ball. Mel does a good job highlighting players you've never heard of or have clue about their strengths/weaknesses. Mel does a good job, better than other hosts that pull shite out their arse to give their take. Mel gives you opinions based on actual research

You honestly think Mel kiper sets the draft boards and everyone else on earth reacts off of his? This isn't 1995. There's 100 guys on twitter who are 1000x more knowledgeable at this than kiper.
He literally knows nothing about football and only has some inside tips on occasion from teams as his go to "skill". He was pushing Josh Allen as the #1 player this year. Nobody else with a brain was doing anything close to that.

Here is just one example...
Mel Kiper in his mock draft had Notre Dame OT Mike McGlinchey going 10th.
He was picked 9th in this draft.
How many of you out there even knew who the frick Mike McGlinchey was if you didn't hear about him from guys like Mel Kiper? Much less picking him go in the top 10 in the draft...

By now there are better guys out there doing this stuff than Mel Kiper. But to act like he doesn't know anything is retarded.
If it wasn't for Mel Kiper and other guys like him, us fans wouldn't have any idea who many of these players are or where they may be drafted.
I'm basically criticizing know-it-all fans who think they know better where guys should be drafted.
I'm not saying Mel Kiper is the best out there... just that fans who think they know stuff actually are just basing what they think they know on other people's work.

If you follow CFB and or the senior bowl, combine, pro days, you’d know who these guys are.

Give him credit for pioneering this little industry but he doesn't really know anything, no. Compared to guys like Daniel Jeremiah or even mayock, he is clueless. Mel just makes shite up or is handed inside info. He's a total dummy on his own when he tries to pretend he's evaluating football players.
