Eta, need to work on your fight judging. Lol

No more fighting for me. I hate getting hit. Like I said...he only clearly won the 1st, and would have won the 4th b/c of the deducted point. The key word is clearly.

How come there isn't the same outrage that the Klitscho Brothers don't fight each other?

A bunch of racists on here...

ok... He went from super featherweight 130lbs to junior middleweight 150 in a little over 2 years.. Very progressive

It's not that hard to believe. In fact, it's pretty easy.

manny really hasn't gained much size. he was just able to make low weights during training.

in 2004 for jmm he weighed in at 125. in the ring the next day he weighed 137 after hydration. For the rematch he weighed in at 129, and the next day he weighed 145.

When he fought DLH he weighed in 12/08 at 142, and the next day he weighed 148. 138 and then 148 for the Hatton fight.

so...really not that much difference in size; he's just not killing himself to make low weights anymore

Another thing is that many of the classic boxing rivalries of the past have had 3 matches. I'm not so sure one fight is enough to prove which guy is better. Assuming PacMan beats Marquez, I'd like to see them set it up as Floyd vs Manny 1 in the Spring of 2012 with a 2nd fight in the Fall. If they split, then you have 1 more in the Spring of 2013 and then both can ride off into the sunset.

Of course, that's asking far too much and I'd be thrilled if they ever just had one fight together

I love how mayweather is the bitch, when none of this would have even happened if Ortiz didn't headbutt him. Jesus people

ortiz apologized for the headbutt and admitted he was wrong, when questioned about the punch mayweather nearly fought an elderly man

i am more upset about this fight ending the way it did, than the whole manny issue.. but since its on there.

manny has always done the testing that is required of him in pro boxing. always. he has never once tested positive or had any connections to illegal substances. never once.. yet there are other big names boxers who have tested positive and just get a pass..

he also does do the blood testing and has in pre-fights before. it is not about being scared of needles. he just didn't want to do it in the 14 day window that floyd was asking for bc the last time he did that he lost. this is a big deal to a guy whose last loss happened to be when he had blood drawn so close to the fight.. he is a very superstitious person. you can definitely see that is the kind of guy he is.

manny opposed such testing demands from floyd initially, but even he finally agreed to meet the random testing up to fight demands from floyd. floyd likes to just spit his side out repeatedly and harp on it.. while not listen to any objective thoughts.. he doesn't want to hear it.

manny will also again agree to the testing. watch and see after his next fight. book that down for later.. and there may or may not be another issue made of something else.. but again for people to just discredit manny based on speculation mainly out of the fact they are a pro-mayweather fan is crazy. and if you say it isn't bc of that.. then why was no one ever bringing it up until mayweather (sr actually) started shouting it. then floyd got on board with it. it should go to show you what kind of people would support someone such as floyd sr.. a guy who based purely off the fact that his son was no longer considered the best p4p and did whatever he could to discredit him.

no one was questioning manny until those two made it an issue.. and now all his little supporters rallied behind it.. yet there's a ton of boxers who have actually tested positive for illegal substances such as MOSLEY.. a guy both fighters have faced since..

1. Floyd won't fight manny without the blood tests
2. Manny won't do the blood tests
3. Bob Arum hates Floyd
4. All are rich, and don't need the money

forgot to add that both are past their prime and don't want to risk a loss (this late in their careers) on their record.

Lots of people have zero clue about what they are watching with Floyd Mayweather. He is really a boxing mastermind. He was moving and slipping, counterpunching, it was vintage Money. His defense is unbelievable, his lead right was on the spot tonight, it was looking great.

Geezus man. Does Floyd atleast hand you a tissue after you get done blowing him?

Did Ortiz take a "dirty" shot with the head butt, yes. If it had decided the fight would everyone still be outraged, yes and at Ortiz. Nothing about race, all about being a bitch. Did mayweather win the fight, yes. How did mayweather win, like a bitch.

a lot of press row would disagree with you

danrafaelespn: Some say it was a sucker punch. I dont think so

Kieran Mulvaney: The crowd is furious. But Ortiz has only himself to blame, to be honest.

ESPNDeportesLA.com: a rookie mistake for Ortiz, but in a fight you must NEVER has your hands down...

Kieran Mulvaney: And it was pointless of him to launch that head butt in the first place. he had been rubbing his head in Floyd's face several times, and then just launched his skull at him. Stupid.

they will eventually agree on the blood testing..but the fight still won't occur. Floyd will demand a ridiculous split (80/20 instead of 50/50) of PPV so the Manny camp won't agree to the fight...give it up guys, it won't happen
