These playoffs are looking like they're going to be a big disappointment, at least for me. Last year was magical with the Mavs winning it all.

Rose got hurt and the Bulls' chances are done.

Celtics are probably going to lose this round now that Rondo is out.

Mavs played two good games and are down 0-2. I still think they're in it, but it's doubtful they'll win the series.

The Heat are probably going to win it all, which is no fun whatsoever.

The conference finals in the West could be Spurs/Lakers.

Crazy enough, I may be cheering for the Lakers from the 2nd round on. Holy frick.

Oh yeah, no doubt. Tyson was THE missing piece. Mavs fans said it all last year, and everyone else just dismissed them as a contender, calling them "the same old Mavs."

And those people didn't know what they were talking about. It was an awesome run last year with those guys. No one gave them a chance, except for me (and a few others).

I think the Lakers probably have the best chance to beat the Heat, which, as a Laker hater, is very disappointing. I also doubt they even make the finals.

The eastern conference is one big pile of crap at this point.

The Heat are almost 95% coming out of the East. And yes, the only team with a chance to beat the Heat is the Lakers (and MAYBE the Spurs).

So you're telling me I have to cheer for the Lakers or Spurs?

frick everything.

Last year was so sweet. Only thing missing was a Spurs series to really round it out.

As great as the finals were, I will never forget sitting in front of the TV during the Mother's Day Massacre just laughing my arse off as the 3s rained in.

What the hell are you talking about? Thunder play Heat very well. Killed them in March and played them very closely in Miami a few weeks later.

The Heat are about 80+ winning the whole thing at this point IMO.

Everyone said it last year, and it was true. That team that made the finals will be the worst Heat team for probably 6-7 years. They're just going to keep having guys line up to take the MLE to play with them. At this point I'm over the hate, I'm just hoping the Mavs can secure a young star to pair with Dirk for the last few years of greatness he's probably got in him for a couple of deep playoff runs.

6-7? Nah. Maybe 3. Wades injuries will eventually take their toll. I think he is already past his prime.

They can't beat them in a 7-game series. Odds are they won't even get there.

They are a few years away still. Durant needs to evolve to his full potential before they can win.

There is a realistic possibility that the Heat can get to the Finals by playing the Knicks/Pacers/Hawks.

The odds are in their favor to win it all this year.

Sure.

Either it's Kobe's 6th, Duncan's 5th, or the super friends' 1st. All three options suck.

Home court or not, all the pressure is on them to win both of these games. They played pretty well and come out of it with nothing to show. Can't count on Durant playing this poorly again either.

Durant is a beast. Shawn Marion gives him trouble and has all year. in 3 games against the Mavericks in the regular season he was

10-16
7-19
6-18

against the Mavs. against the Heat however, his numbers were much better.

11-20
11-21

Marion is a great defender, who else is Durant gonna face in the postseason that will give him that kinda trouble? noone

I hope I'm wrong, but I think Artest will do a good enough job on Durant for the Lakers to win the series.

Dont see the Lakers beating the Thunder

Hope I'm wrong, but don't see. Not with Artest missing some of that series and possibly Hill

If you're the Lakers, do you intentionally lose a game or 2 in the first round to get Artest back sooner?
