Memphis to New Orleans is a pretty boring drive. Seems like an awful waste of a vacation

Hope he drove through the Delta and didn't just take 55 the whole way.

I wonder how many charging stations are on that stretch of 55, it can't be many

Imagine how many hours they spend on planes during the year. You get a 6 hour road trip to yourself, you take advantage of it, no matter how unflattering the drive may be

Looks like just enough.

209 miles from Memphis to Jackson. Not sure what the best battery package will max out in terms of miles. I've been researching and thinking of taking the plunge on a Model S...but only on the lowest end of the battery life spectrum, the poor folk way!!!

perhaps, but as someone who has made that basic drive (BR to Memphis) more times than i can count it really is extremely boring.

as a Memphis native and having to do that drive countless times as well, I can support this statement. It is dreadful driving the length of the state of MS

There are worse drives.

But there is no bad drive if you like driving enough. Some weak folks ITT.

I drove from Memphis to New Orleans on Mr Garrison's IT Bike.

Better than dealing with the airport.

Drove from Walker to Memphis many times heading to Ft Campbell.

Extremely boring, terrible radio stations, but I would always smile when I saw the Duck Hill exit.
