I better question is why was he in Fayetteville.
Simply enjoying one of the top 5 places in America to live, of course.

Why is the 11th pick in the NBA driving a 2002 Lexus?

is he on a UK spy mission ?

1. Is he getting coffee at 5:45am?
I get coffee at 5:45 all the time. Lots of people wake up to work out that early.

He's financially responsible? Lexus makes a reliable vehicle that will last well into the 100k mile range without issue.

He might be fiscally responsible but he has no excuse to be driving without proof of insurance with his salary.
I got a ticket for not having proof of insurance recently because I just didn't have the new card in my car and couldn't remember the password on the app.
You can get it expunged if you prove to the court you had insurance at the time.

At least Texas highway patrol can. I got pulled over and didn't have an updated one and he said it wasn't a problem.
A. Not all can
B. They can still write you a ticket for not being able to show proof

Sounds like he:
1. gets up early.
2. Knows how to manage his money.

This. Insurance companies report lapses to the state. A police officer knows, when he runs your tags, if you do or do not have insurance today.

A car is one of the worst investments one can make. It depreciates by the day. Why spend a ton of money on a car? Yes some cars look cool but they are awful investments

The car is Daryl Macon's not Monks.
so basically monk owes Macon a car but if he buys him a car, it's a violation
that's kinda fricked up

That's called being smart with money. Kawhi Leonard drives a 1997 Chevy Tahoe. If the Lexus was in good condition, why not run it until it dies?
I don't have anything remotely close to NBA money, but I drive a 2002 Avalon and plan on driving it until fixing it costs more than the car's value.

Truth although the Geico app has it on phone too
