He is now at 77.03%. If he throws for 76.5% (or better) in the Natty game, he'll own that record

[current record - 76.7%, Colt McCoy]

^These stats do not yet include the 1/1/21 game at time of posting OP

Trevor Lawrence will rank about 85th on that list.

Put me on a team with nothing but blue chip OL and first round WR’s and I could probably break that record

Tua didn't - nor did any other Bama QB... but you probably would - LOL

"Generational" Lawrence didn't break it - and Clemson is loaded with 4 and 5 star talent - has been for years.

So you're 2019 Joe Burrow?

Looks like he’s at 76.5 after the ND game

76.5 after the Florida game

Went 25 of 30, 83.3 in the ND game - kicked it up to 77.03

Usually takes a day or two for that site to recalculate

To be fair, Burrow almost broke it too (76.3%), but he threw 200 more passes (527) than Mac did (327)

And he's thrown 100 less passes than McCoy did when he set the record in 2008. Mac won't even come close to McCoy's attempts, and they will have played the same number of games.

In fact, he'll have the lowest number of attempts of anyone in the Top 5 in that metric, and the only one below 400 attempts. Hell, even Daunte Culpepper had 402 attempts back in 1998.

The real joke is that Justin Fields might end up in the Top 10 all-time after only playing an 8 game season...lol!

You are seriously overrating his receivers not named Devonta Smith

What's crazy about that is that Jones has still thrown for over 4,000 yards despite so few pass attempts.

Mac has only thrown to 1 of those this year and his season ended in game 5

Yeah, that's a pretty wild stat right there.

And he’s doing it with a higher yards per attempt than Joe Burrow and his 3 all world receivers

Burrow didn’t have 3 all-world receivers...

Having said that, Chase WAS and Jefferson was close, so 2 is a good number.

Regardless, this says more about Bama’s receiver talent and line talent than it does about Mac vs Joe.

May have just been the way I read what you said, but Mac is NOT on the level of Joe Burrow.
