Luka:
29.1 PPG
9.5 RPG
8.9 APG
46% from the field
32% from 3
76% from the line
PER 27.3

Lebron:
27.2 PPG
7.4 RPG
7.2 APG
47% from the field
35% from 3
75% from the line
PER 25.6

Now for the insanity: Luke Doncic plays 33.8 MPG, nearly TEN FULL MINUTES PER GAME LESS than Lebron did at 21. Of the 10 triple doubles achieved in the fewest minutes in NBA history, Luka owns 5 of them.

This kid is the greatest 21 year old in league history and, statistically, it’s not close

Lebron was faster and stronger than the game at that age. There wasn’t a ton of finesse in his game.

Luka sees everyone two to three moves ahead so he doesn’t have to be athletically superior. His finesse is your dad embarrassing you at the gym literally throwing bounce passes between his legs for layups. He can do that until he’s 40 if he wants.

How many wins would Luka have with this roster?

Daniel Gibson, guard
Drew Gooden, forward
Larry Hughes, guard
Zydrunas Ilgauskas, center
Damon Jones, guard
Donyell Marshall, forward
Ira Newble, forward/guard
Sasha Pavlovic guard
Scot Pollard, forward
Eric Snow, guard
Anderson Varejao, forward
David Wesley, guard

LeBron took that roster to the Finals at 22 years old.

It could be worse, you could be the Kings.

The Larry Bird comparison is stereotypical and lazy, but, in this case it actually kind of applies.

If Legend played today, Doncic is what he'd be.

Better accomplishment than beating the 73 win Warriors, IMO. Doncic is gifted but that 2007 ECF G5 separated LeBron from every other young player ever

I grew up watching Bird and the two don’t play that similar to me.

I’d say Doncic is more Pistol Pete than Bird.

They have to learn how to play defense first.

Luka has the better numbers by far at this point. Has a long ways to go to be in Lebron territory though. Even still, he is a top 5 NBA player right now at 21. impressive as shite

I am a big luk guy but you can’t put him top 5 yet.

Harden
Giannis
Kawhi
Lebron
Steph
KD
Davis

Then you could put Luk here next.
