There’s a handful of great rivalry games which have been lost due to conference realignment and expansion. There’s also a few teams that still play despite being in different conferences that I would like to see in the same conference again at some point.

What rivalry games would you like to see return?

For me:
Texas A&M vs Texas
Nebraska vs Oklahoma
Pitt vs West Virginia
Central Florida vs Connecticut
LSU vs Tulane

Nah. Tulane hasn’t been on the same tier as LSU in 50 years or more. There is no real rivalry there between the schools anymore either. This game would be nothing but a joke.

Kansas vs Mizzou border war is one that comes to mind. They recently announced that they scheduled a few games that'll start to play again in a few years but don't think its going to be an annual thing.

Disagree with this strongly. I would love to play them
Home and home every year.

It's not as historically significant or competitive as others, but as a kid of the late 80s/early 90s, I miss seeing the Nebraska-Colorado game the day after Thanksgiving.

Doesn't make sense anymore with Tulane in the G5. If history had gone a little different and they ended up in the ACC or Big 12, then I would really enjoy that.

we're good.

i obviously want to BTHO Bama, LSU, etc. every year. but i mostly like the fanbases and enjoy the rivalry.

i have no desire to play texas in any sport again. tons of people i love from that school but they were just toxic at the end.

I’d like to see a BYU Utah series be regular again

It’s usually a good game and they don’t like each other

No top tier P5 school is scheduling a home and home with a G5 school. There's no financial incentive.

LSU doesn't benefit any more from a home game vs Tulane than a home game vs ULL/ULM/LaTech. They can't inflate the ticket price like they would for a home game vs a P5 opponent and they'd lose a home game revenue in return to go play in New Orleans when the bulk of the attendees at the Tulane home game will be LSU fans. Last time LSU played Tulane in New Orleans, I was there in 2007 and the dome was 80% purple and gold for a Tulane home game.

was usually the biggest game of the year, every year, in the 70's and 80's.
