Earlier this week, Bulldog fans were beating their chest as the best college football team in Louisiana.
Today, the Bulldogs lose to a program that was on hiatus for the past two seasons.
LoL Tech missed two PAT's and a 29 yards Field Goal in the 4th Quarter.

Damn. Missed the game this week, but last week their kicker became the all time leader in FGs. He's been rock solid his whole career.

Tech is getting almost as unbearable as The University of Louisiana school not in Monroe.

I just checked their message board.....many of their fans pegged this loss earlier this week....pretty interesting to read the insight.

We have injuries and it has always been a tough game at UAB. We have 3 WRs out (2 starters), a CB out, OL and DE out as well. We knew we were limping into the bye week. That's why some of us thought it would be tough. UAB wanted it more and deserved it.
Still beats being a ul- u pick'em fan.

their message board listed a ton of injuries.....some questionable coaching....and a young QB with young receivers.
I need to research and see why they actually lost....if I recall Massey had them at a 40-50 rank difference...that is a pretty big upset from the analytical side of it.

I mean we aren't crazy. Don't feel good about anything. Im certainly not overconfident.
Lots of injuries someone else mentioned. 4 WR out, One is our deep guy and another was his backup. Mostly young guys playing, our best safety got ejected for targeting early second half. But most of all... Ill be proud when we do good but i sure as heck will point out our faults and my own concerns. I wasn't looking forward to this game.
AWFUL kicking game today and AWFUL focus, too many penalties. Those two things really killed us. Oddly, not something we usually have trouble with.

Someone said the line for a La tech Tulane game would be -6.5 La tech. I'll gladly take +6.5 against La tech. UAB didn't have a football program last year.
