26-3, 18 game winning streak, topped off with a 3 game losing streak capped by losing to a team with a 10-21 record and 3-14 conference record. The football team really taught these guys how to piss away a good season at the finish line.

Tech is lucky is one aspect - they move to a conference closer to home next year. The traveling in the WAC takes a toll on student athletes. Denver, san jose, new mexico, idaho....those trips wear you down. Watch WV in the big 12 -same will happen to them.
Funny how everything was at the fingertips and just washed away....could have very easily been an NCAA invite and a bcs bowl....

Lol at what? Tech is going to the NIT. Were is ULL going this year in basketball? Yes we had a shot at the tourney this year but didn't make it. So be it. Nobody was expecting the tournament this year anyway. Were still extremely young and hopefully will put a good showing in the NIT. That said the last three games have been really bad for Tech. I hope they can break out this slump and go far in the NIT.

If you followed the two programs last football season, it's obvious Tech was better. Bowl game or not.

You can say it all you want but that is opinion. If they had played Tech would have been the favorite to win but that is all that can be said about it. The fact is both had 9 wins, ULL won a bowl game and Tech looked stupid for not getting in a bowl. Better season goes to ULL.
