Can't make Catholic @ Zachary on Thursday but wish I could. Pumped up for WF @ Plaquemine on Friday. Both games have playoff seeding/bye implications, not to mention district titles.

Karr the best team in Select 1 and sitting at #13 seed after those 3 forfeits. Sucks for whoever faces them in playoffs first round.

So the select I playoffs will be a 24 team bracket instead of 11 or 12 teams filling out a 16 team bracket in past years.

Guess it'll look like this?

This is the game every year that Ike gets pissy about when they lose and I’m here for it, again.

I wish JP would just turn Shrine on Airline to a football venue or just let Rummel convert their field into an actual stadium.

Agreed… you can get away with soccer and JV football on that piece of property, but you can’t host Catholic League varsity games there, it’s just too small

Yeah bc they have all that parking at Yenni. Rummel wants to play Friday night games and they can’t do that at Yenni plus my understanding is that Yenni charges them a pretty steep $. My understanding is that Strawberry Stadium gave them a pretty sweet deal to play there.

Well the stadium at Yenni is owned by the jefferson parish school board and since they were built publics got first crack at Friday's. They neighborhood didn't have a chance to challenge Yenni being built. Yes SLU and Nicholls are giving sweetheart deals to HS teams wanting to play there, great marketing.
