If the St Pauls-Curtis game didn't conflict with the LSU game I would definitely check it out.

Same here.. already in BR.

I saw Curtis vs Covington in the Mandeville Jamboree and I had Curtis people tell me "this is the best Curtis team ever." Now I saw Curtis play Mandeville in '06 when they had McKnight and IMO that '06 team was better, but only because of McKnight.

I agree, that 06 team was unreal. 17 D1 players on that team.

But yeah, this year is their best team since that 06 squad. It'll be tough to come out with a W, especially with a shortened week of preparation.

I'm at the South Beau-DQ game also. DQ has a good qb #2 Jaleel Bridges. SB has a good running back #4 Ledet.
damn.

Yeah, Bridges looked decent, but can't really take a hit, and his receivers sure couldn't catch.

Hopefully Ledet is okay, left on a stretcher, and he's pretty much the only RB we have.

#7 Pryce Fotenot tonight though was just an absolute hoss

ETA: the game was boring as shite though. whole thing looked to be in slow motion.

One good thing is that St Paul's and Curtis scrimmaged each other two weeks ago. I know its not the same as game planning a team but its still better than no preparation and/or throwing together a game plan in two days.

Curtis looked good in that scrimmage. St Paul's looked really good against Brother Martin but couldn't stop Curtis running the ball. We'll see what happens when St Paul's DC schemes against Curtis. (Even though you know what Curtis is going to do, you just have to stop it.) I think that guy (Pierre?) is one of the best coaches on the Northshore.

Nah, something like 3 returning starters on offense I heard. STM defense looked out of position on Sulphurs first passing TD. Thinking STM is really down this year.

Thats funny. he is not that good. I saw him at the Jamboree and was not impressed. I doubt LSU is interested in him at this point. Now the QB for Calvary out of Shreveport, he is really good. Him I could see playing colleger ball for sure.

Looks like Ruston's New Uniforms and multi million dollar facility did not help them much. Neville rolled them last night. Laird needs to pack his crap and go..
