They should be undefeated, they blew the game week 1 against the team from Maryland (who I think may be a nationally ranked team but I’m not sure)

I mean Zachary and Karr are comparable elite Louisiana programs and Catholic beat both of them this year. I’d like to see which programs people think are better in the past say decade.

Denham Springs’ season came to an end tonight 49-31 at the hands of Ruston.
Could have been a completely different game if BOTH DSHS QB’s don’t put it on the turf on back to back drives…one of which was in the red zone. Both fumbles led to Ruston TD’s.
But all that said, the better team won tonight. Ruston is the real deal and looks every bit the 1 seed.
Great season for some great DSHS kids. They started as sophomores going 1-8 and finished as seniors in the quarterfinals. Very proud of our Yellow Jackets.

I mean it’s a step down from the old regime (many of those coaches are doing very well at West Feliciana this year) but the new regime is 23-2 so I’ll let it slide for now.

DSHS actually did a lot better than I thought they would. Good for them for getting a memorable bounce back season.

I don’t want to put Ruston down, and they are having a great season but y’all won district for the first time in ages and haven’t won state since 1990. (When they spanked CHS )
