Anyone have the numbers posted yet. I read an article of Evangel dropping to 4A.

Evangel is a 2A school. They opt to play in Division I.

Curtis is a 2a school as well, they're borderline 1a enrollment I believe, but the young men they have all play football. They play up like they always have done, except for the few years that they made them play in their classification, lol.

How does a school with around 300 students or so do so well in football consistently?

Well, they had never opted to play up in the state's highest classification. Now with the split they do, and have yet to win a state title.

That’s weird because I read where Evangel didn’t want any part of 4A because of basketball. I believe the Evangel rep said it was a “Murderer’s Row”.

will cause further division among some smaller selects...

let's see if U high can sustain this run - it is very very difficult to do.

Ahhh so they’re going to 4A so they can stay in Shreveport and never have to travel instead of heading down I-49 for 3 teams. It sucks, WM has been with those 3 the last few cycles. Football isn’t the issue. It’s the basketball/baseball/soccer trips during the middle of the week when it starts being a major hassle.
