Check your match ups again. The LHSAA just updated their rankings. Some teams moved around a little bit.

It's like football. It doesn't matter if you play big schools and get your brains beat in, you get credit in the power ratings for getting your arse beat. Block does it every year in football and falls on it's face in the playoffs.

Parkview always plays big schools and wins most of the time. This season they apparently sucked it up against them. ML retired way too early.

I'm not saying they aren't good, just that there is a flaw in the LHSAA power rating formula. Teams like Block shouldn't get credit for losing 70-0 to Bastrop and the same holds true for baseball.

It sucks ML retired so early but Parkview was lazy and made a joke of a hire promoting Coach Mitchell. They could have hired anybody.

Pretty sure he was hired back by the school in order to be the head coach (after Woodruff retired).
