Both of those were absurd and should have been no calls
They need to keep the flag in their pocket on these and have some other sort of flag to "review" it via replay

I don't think they have an hourly or yearly salary, I think they get paid per/flag.

Sorry, no clip. But philly and New England game: both the patriot runner and eagle db lowered their heads. Db was penalized. This will be a defensive penalty all year.

makes you feel bad for the players who are busting their arse (in some cases) to make a team and they get flagged simply so the refs can "set the tempo" for the regular season.

The most comical one I've seen yet. Jordan Richardson literally came to a momentum stop, slide his feet sideways, and used his shoulder to stop the TE while getting kind of run over.

I hope they get this shite figured out soon, because this one and the two in the OP are hilariously bad. Especially the Vikings one. "Using your weight to drive him into the ground," isn't that basically the exact definition of a tackle?
