Michigan finally beats Ohio State when it matters.

Washington is PAC 12 champion again beginning their reign as kings out west after hamming the shite out of USC it the conference title game.

No one in this thread is actually giving bold takes

Let me help you all out. Here are some ACTUAL bold takes

Georgia Tech will win the ACC

There will be a 3 way clusterfrick mess atop the Big 12 for 2nd place and tiebreakers will be used to determine the championship game.

Penn State will go 6-6

LSU will lose to BYU in the first game

Auburn loses 3-4 games.

They seem to always flop big time when they are hyped preseason.

But GT is known for doing that. They never land somewhere in the middle. They either shoot for the moon or flame out.

Eason for sure. For some reason a lot of our fan base (and everyone else apparently) is down on a former 5* QB who came from Washington, started in the SEC as a true freshman, and threw for over 2400 yards with a 2:1 TD to INT ratio. Yeah he had his ups and downs but most freshman QBs do. I think he'll take a big step forward this season.

If Justin Thomas weren't graduating, then I would maybe agree given what they did last year and have returning. The ACC is pretty tough this year, and their cross-divisional games are at Clemson and a game Wake Forest at home this year. Option systems, more than any other offensive system, require veteran and experienced play at QB (and why Keenan Reynolds was such an underrated player his entire career). I'll pass this year on GT.

Seems like it's nearly that every single year, so yea.

Stridently disagree. Of their non-Big Ten East opponents, they play Pitt in Beaver Stadium, Northwestern in a nothing atmosphere on the road, and Nebraska in Beaver Stadium. 16 starters back from a Big Ten winning team. I just don't see it - a collapse from them is 8 - 4 this year.

Could definitely see this and am surprised a lot of LSU fans here and elsewhere are taking them a bit lightly. We've played them a lot over the years, and they are as physical and dirty as anyone, and they've got talent.

These bold prediction threads are dumb. Basically say dumb shite and if it's wrong (which most of it will be) just say you didn't mean it, cuz you know, being bold. Then there's ppl who take this too seriously and not pick some picks saying they're not that bold.

-Iowa wins the Big Ten West
-Josey Jewell is the best LB in the Big Ten and Iowa has the best LB Corp in the Big Ten (that's actually not that bold, all preseason experts say as much, but this board is dumb enough to consider it bold because Iowa)

-UAB will not only make a bowl game in their first year back, but win their division and play for the CUSA championship

- Georgia will finish .500 or below
