He's the coach you want if you want to make a bunch of money and increase hype around your organization. His style fills seats and is fun to watch but he isn't winning anything with it. The slower playoff pace kills him.

This just removed any faith I could ever have in Dantoni winning a finals. Terrific regular season coach. But goodness how do they not win tonight. This was their game to win.

This is as much or more about Daryl Morey, the super genius who invented basketball, has been on the job 10+ years, and the Rockets haven't even sniffed the NBA Finals.
I wish Richard Justice's punk arse still wrote for the Houston Chronicle because it would be interesting to see if he still thinks Morey is a genius. But I understand he's probably still counting the money he was paid by Bud Selig to continually paint an Astros move to the American League as a good move.

Gotta give Kerr props for how he played the bench in game 6, even though he didn’t have much choice. They kept the W’s in the game so that steph could win it.

Not a fan of Harden, Paul, Shumpert, green, etc...kinda neutral about dantoni. I do think the Suns and Nash would’ve won it the year they had those suspensions though
