The worst part was we let them do it too, I DEFINITELY don't trust the government when it comes to many things if not all things however I'm attending to the typical events and processes of real life regularly like most people so didn't take much umbrage with it initially. learning we may shut the entire country down over it for roughly an entire year while also learning the extent of covid really changed things and pissed me off not to mention the extent to which the media misrepresented the quality of Trump's response to covid to influence the election (which I suppose they didn't have to since it was rigged but that's a topic for the PoliBoard).

Bc the majority of this country is too insecure to trust themselves to find success. This provided another excuse to not work or point the finger at their lack of financial success. Most would rather be told a lie, that they know is a lie, than a hard truth exposing their own mistakes.

I really don’t have 2 fricks to give about lebron’s opinion or personal life choices, but there are a lot of people that do and potentially a lot of people that look to him as a role model and a guide for a healthy lifestyle. Him saying/or being linked to not getting the vaccine could lead to a lot more people not doing their own research and just emulating him and not getting it.
Again, not a big deal, their body, their choice in my opinion. However, we have local and state officials saying restrictions will not be lifted until extremely high vaccine thresholds are met. That’s why saying one of the, most famous and influential athletes in the world not getting vaccinated might be a big deal.

Which in a vacuum is completely fine, even with his massive platform.
But.
Where has even being misinformed ever stopped him from having an opinion on education, race relations, police, NBA rules and politics?
Dude decided to be silent on two things in his career, Chinese murdering it’s own people where he makes millions a year in revenue and exposure and for some reason Vaccinations.
Which in a vacuum is completely fine, even with his massive platform.
But.
