Protected the rim, scored inside, stretch outside. Willing passer & screener. Not a "great" rebounder, but his space on the court (stretching the floor,screening/popping,less posting than his talents deserved) he loses rebound opportunites (plus LeBron is grabbing boards) instead...

James left Bosh and split the role into two spots(since he is LeGM...in the offseason at least, ever since The Letter) on his new team. Now you have Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson- both players do things better than Bosh, but Bosh was a better all around player and is a "plus player " on both ends.

So...maybe he shouldn't have left what the Heat offer as an organization? Plus, those sweet Vice unis

Anyway LeFans...Bosh was great, am I right?

Wow, I was just telling my roommate yesterday I bet Lebron misses Bosh. He was the most underappreciated and overscrutinized player on that Heat team, and it pained me to see his career end the way it did. Dude's a HoFer.

Everyone remembers Allen's 3 to save the Spurs series.....it was Bosh who got the offensive rebound after Lebron bricked a shot and had the awareness to find Allen with the clock winding down on their season. Dude was a really smart basketball player and adjusted his game tremendously coming from Toronto. They get 0 rings without him.

Considering Bosh has practically medically retired after 97 games post Lebron, Wade left and found his way back as an old man (traded there by a Lebron), I don’t think Lebron thinks about Miami.

Yeah LeFans and would definitely appreciate Bosh cheering his team on with a suit and tie. Bosh gives amazing handshakes

Unless Riley would have gotten another star to come to Miami, it was best for him to move when he did.

Wade got old quick. Bosh had the blood clots on lung diagnosed. Allen and Battier were older. A lot of money tied up in old talent.

Meanwhile, Kerr still inherits the Warriors and turns them into one of the greatest teams ever.

So, you’d have pre-Durant Warriors vs Heat. Chalmers, Wade, Lebron, Pau (iirc there was talks of Miami trying to get him before “The Letter”), and Whiteside. I think that team gets obliterated vs GS.

I agree that Bosh was great and was a perfect fit for them during their run.

the Heat are a franchise that makes moves at least. Dragic
on the trade,James Johnson in FA, Winslow & Bam through draft(Winslow can at least fill your bench), Richardson from G-League, point being they know what they are doing

Bosh was the ideal piece and people shitted on him for years because his numbers next to LeBron dropped big time & he didn't give af.

What a great player.

You don’t have to be a fan of Bron to appreciate Chris Bosh. Dude was an automatic 20/10 guy, played good defense, and was clutch. Easily a top 25 player in the league, maybe top 15.

Bosh was the scapegoat when the team didn’t do well, but he wasn’t the real issue. Their depth was a huge problem, as well as Lebron and Wade’s 3 point shooting abilities early on. But Bosh was such a unique player on that team, he was the non traditional PF/C that Lebron needed to succeed at that time. Someone to space the floor and let Lebron drive and pull out the big men. And at the time Bosh was one of like 2 floor spacing big men

For good reason. Bosh was by far the more consistent player, but I’m sure the Lebron fans would appreciate if he hit more of those final second open threes that Lebron gave up the ball for.

Facts Lebron Lovers ignore:

1. Wade, Bosh, and Lebron had 3 of the top 4 PER ratings in the NBA while all in the primes The year they joined together after colluding together around the 2008 Olympics to have their contracts expire together so they could join up.
2. Bosh was playing better basketball than Tim Duncan and Dwight Howard in 2009-2010
3. Bosh was the ONLY player in the NBA to avg 20/10 in 2008-2009 and 2009-2010
4. Bosh’s playoff PER in his last playoff appearance was essentially the same as Lebron’s in Lebron’s first year at Miami.

Bosh wasn’t just good. He was really really good and he was the ultimate teammate. He sacrificed stats and played out of position for Lebron so Lebron could “get his”...only to become Lebron’s scapegoat because Bosh wasn’t allowed to play in his style.

If it wasn’t for Bosh’s health issues that flared up in Lebron’s last year in Miami (which prompted Lebron to bitch out to a newer younger superteam) We would have really seen Bosh shine post Lebron.

Lebron needs more help.

Bosh would be even more valuable in today's NBA. Shame he had to medically retire.

It's like you don't know anything about Bosh or basketball. Bosh never protected the rim. Bosh was a finesse player. Finesse players don't protect rims. Bosh had ability but he was an awful mismatch for a Lebron team.

Bosh was good. I really hate his health caught up with him.

He was the scapegoat for the Heat just like Love is for the Cavs. Except Bosh is the better player.

Funny how he didn't make 1st, 2nd, or 3rd team All NBA that year.

Who didn't know that Bosh was extremely valuable to those Heat teams?

What would've helped if they'd gotten Whiteside while he was there. He probably doesn't leave that situation.

Then again Bosh was always going to have these blood clot issues. Nothing could've prevented it.
