The counter argument would be that he developed a skill set that sets him apart from most, if not all, human beings. That skill set also puts millions of eyeballs on him, which he can influence for marketing and other purposes.

I think LeBron is a huge pussy, but please explain what anybody in this thread, including myself, has done that makes you or anyone else any more qualified. LeBron hasn't filed suit against Alabama. He is not going to. Rest assured his lawyers in the last few weeks have very gently explained to him that he's a complete fricking moron talking out of his arse and he needs to just shut up and let it fade away.

Perhaps they (LBJ's peeps) anticipated this lawsuit because they really did just straight up steal an idea pitched to them without giving due credit and compensation, So LeBron got ahead of the ball and accused an un-involved third party Alabama of stealing to confuse the issue and pre-emptively generate the narratives in their favor. "this is a common idea" "everyone steals from everyone". Maybe Lebron and his LePosse are really geniuses
