The new lebatard company did a 24 hour live show on YouTube, Twitch etc on this past Friday.
The show did 3 million views with an average timeframe of 45 minutes per viewer. 45 minutes is pretty high to watch any content in this day and age.
Big Lead

The clip I watched involved them eating Carolina Reaper peppers, discussing movies with Neal Brennan, and 2 fat guys racing on the side walk.
That said if Dan Lebatard talked for 24 hours, I’m sure there had to be some politically correct conversations somewhere.

not shocking
he has a loyal fanbase, and it's brand new, so people wanted to see what exactly it is.
Guy might be a d-bag, but he has a loyal and nice sized fan base. Those can keep you employed for a long time.

I'm curious how they came up with that number. I watched parts of it here and there. They had between 15,000 and 24,000 viewers at any given time that I was watching.

My logic is probably flawed here, but if 3,000,000 people averaged 45 minutes over 24 hours...let’s round up and say they all watched for an hour.
3,000,000 / 24 = 125,000 viewers an hour
Obviously there’s a peak and low time of viewership, other obvious large logical
flaws with such a simple numerical representation but...should I be impressed?

3M is a combination of views on all social media channels.
For Youtube specifically, the avg viewer watched ~45 minutes.
I enjoy the show 80% of the time. Lebatard is exhausting with his gasbagery and inserting his political agenda into aspects of the show. The rest, is entertaining.

Ron Magill's baseball cards segment was the funniest part. Everyone's reaction when he said the Satchel Paige card looked like Roy was hilarious.

My son watched an hour long video on Youtube the other day of a guy building a fort in the woods with sticks and stones. It had a few million views. So am I suppose to be impressed that a sports personality that had his own show on the largest sports network in the work attracted 3 million views over 24 hours?

People on here don't like him, but LeBatard is popular in the general public.

I understand the lebatard hate TD gives him, but a lot of the stuff they do is funny. Everything Stugotz does is gold and his Heat rants around 2011-2012 were some of the best things I’ve ever heard

I remember when they did a big hype up for the LSU-Miami game a few years ago and then the U got wrecked

Hey RSBD and Lester Earl.
I think you guys need to leave politics off of the MSB, and take a break. You two are out of line.
Thanks
