That was a national championship season. Lol

Lots of teams played high schools back then. I wanna say Arkansas' first game was against Fort Smith high or something. They'd beat us if we played now but yeah...

Hopefully it doesn't end like this down the stretch

Gotta be the record for the biggest disparity in points scored in consecutive games right?
Posted on 11/10/19 at 11:17 pm to JohnnyKilroy
Probably the GA Tech 222 game had a bigger disparity

Princeton has more natties than Bama.

Bama only has 9 or 10 natties. Its hilarious how their fan base lies to themselves to make their lives more bearable.

Looks like the Gophers ran up the score a little. Hopefully the baws from Grinnell invited the Gophers to get in their horse-drawn carriages and saunter down to Sonic to check knuckles.

John Kinkaid's playoff seedings from this morning.

2. Ohio St.
3. Minnesota
4. Clemson

That looks tougher than Clemson’s 2019 schedule

Dude look at most schools early years.
Princeton was playing Yale, the Kings back then.
Everybody else was playing high schools, military depots or vocational schools.
That's how we got the phrase "the sisters of the poor."
Shite the Big10 started in 1896, the PCC started in 1915 (the original Pac-12) and included the current members minus Colorado and Utah, plus Montana and Idaho, the SEC didn't start until 1934.
The 1912 Alabama schedule was:
Marion
Birmingham
Georgia Tech
Mississippi State
Georgia
Tulane
Ole Miss
Sewanee
Tennessee
So same as it ever was. And they tied Sewanee.
And the first AP champ was...Minnesota. 1936

Lol
The expression comes from senator robert Taft in the 1950s. Has nothing to do with early football schedules.

In 1912 that was a difficult schedule.
