You see what is happening at Zachary without recruiting?
They suck arse. It is a year round event (recruiting). And great programs attract the best by being the best.
West Monroe always has a Fenceroy to replace a Hamburg. A Hutchinson. A Moncrief when a Gullat graduates. A James when a McConathy graduates.

They’re good, but have never won a state championship, so not sure they get the powerhouse moniker.

It would be much more impressive had they moved up to 5A back in the early 90s rather than dodging the big boys for as long as possible.
