24.3pts-10rbs-6.3ast-1.7stl-.8blk

.496 fg%
.376 3fg%
.889 ft%

Way better than Westbrook’s. Lebron beats him with pts and assist and fg%. Bird has fewer turnovers than either.

Ok? Has anyone compared him to Westbrook? Totally different type of player. And Bird was better, not sure anyone is arguing that.

Stunning English there, chap. Also, you don't "stat padded" your way to 23 pts 8 ast and 6.5 rebs over a career.

And he's not bad defensively.

You look back and honestly, some of these greats are really freaking good and we seem to forget it.

Westbrook shooting %age is not that good. And his defensive stats is horrendous despite being a superior athlete to bird.

LeBron to Larry has always been a more apt comparison than LeBron to Jordan

Best 9 fingered player in the history of the NBA.

If you ever get the opportunity to shake his hand, do so. Its an experience, if he will shake it.

Larry Bird's the greatest shooter and clutch player to ever play this game, a genius at the sport, at his peak he was the greatest triple-threat the game ever saw

All true.....but you are leaving out the fact that he was also one of the greatest trash talkers of all time.

I would expect a top 5 player of all time (Top 10 at worst) to have impressive stats.
