It’s been a damn good year for the bayou state’s FBS programs.

Massey Composite Rankings
2. LSU @ 9-0
33. Louisiana @ 7-2
39. Tulane @ 6-3
45. La Tech @ 8-1
93. ULM @ 4-5

LSU should wins out and will make the CFP.

Louisiana should win out and finish at 10-2 playing Appalachian State in Boone for the SBC Championship.

Tulane might end up dropping their last 3 against Temple, UCF and SMU.

La Tech has Marshall, UAB and UTSA remaining. They end the year no worse than 9-3, most likely 10-2.

ULM could finish up at 6-6 with games again Georgia Southern, Coastal Carolina and Louisiana left.

There’s billboards in Lafayette that say “Bowl Eligible” and that alone should be the reason why everyone should laugh at them trying to call themselves the University of “Louisiana”

Google “Louisiana Football”

That should answer your question.

Tigers, Bulldogs & Cajuns all control their own destiny for conference championships with 3 weeks left. Pretty cool.

Great year overall for football in the state.

I hope we get a better bowl reward than whipping ULL's arse again but hey, if we have to smack lil brother down again so be it.

A Tulane fan calling any one "little brother" is just so rich.

In the last decade, we are 2-2 head to head with more bowl wins.

What in the world are you talking about?

“Louisiana” football?

ULL fans need to stop trying to make “fetch” happen because it isn’t going to happen.

Can you run it again without ULM and see where the state ranks?

1/3 seems more likely. Temple really isn’t that good and UCF just lost to Tulsa, I think we at least split those. SMU is just a terrible matchup for us because pass defense is Tulane’s weakness.

Would be crazy if ULM does wind up earning a bowl bid, That would be all four G5 teams in bowls plus LSU likely in the CFP. Great all around year for Louisiana college football.

Oh, you mean the ONE digital billboard AT CAJUN FIELD? It's primary job it to remind people of ticketing opportunities. So, yeah.

Tulane is 23-6 all time versus ULL. You guys might have had a few good years in there, but don't forget who the original University of Louisiana is.

Bragging about having a series lead over ULL isn’t a great look for us, but frick it I’ll allow it

You also left the SEC and almost dropped your football program. So, the past 30 years between the two schools have been about even.

Here's a stat for all the hair-gels in Laffy, Tulane has no losing record to any current D1 in-state team besides LSU, but Tulane has more wins against LSU than all other Louisiana schools combined.
