Multiple news reports are floating out there that Kyrie doesn't intend on signing with the Celtics at the end of his contract. He has been on record of saying he would love to play in New York with a big like Porzingis. This is all very interesting timing to me. Is this in reaction to speculation that Boston is going after LeBron? If so and you're Boston, do you trade Kyrie now and get some value? Its obvious that if Boston were to get LeBron AND get Hayward back, the need for Kyrie diminishes. Lets also be honest, Kyrie has old man knees and is injured often. I just find these reports starting to surface very interesting. Anybody reading into this?

The only team LeBron could join, in order to take down GSW, is Boston. What they did in the playoffs without 2 of their best players speaks volumes of the quality of depth within the lineup.

0.0% chance Lebron goes to Boston regardless of Irving

You should like an ESPN "insider." They want New York City to be relevant so bad.

It just doesn't make sense for Kyries camp to be putting this out there in the media. It tells me that he knows Boston is serious about going after LeBron. Why else would he want out of Boston? Its all very odd to me. Multiple news agencies are reporting this.

It would make sense for someone that wants Lebron in Boston to leak this though

Wrong! Houston took them to 7 and would have beat them had CP3 not gotten injured. Houston would wax the floor with GSW if LeBron went there.

The only issue is with how many players we can keep. We would need a GM to do us a solid. And keeping Capela is basically impossible, which sucks because I love Capela.

What would Paul Pierce’s reaction be if LeBron joins the Celtics?

Boston only has their late 1st rounder, correct? I thought they had another top10 pick from a trade last season.

They should start talking to teams about a big, who can bang and clear space for their drivers and shooters.

Boston with another big would be a legit contender to GS. Keep Kyrie and add a big.

Some just mentioned Capella leaving Houston. If GSW or Boston signed Capela that would be nuts.

Do not think there is any way they can afford him even if he took a massive discount.

Without KD they are at about $103 million. Salary cap was advised to teams to be around $101 million. I do not think Capela would be a good fit for the money he will want in Boston.

If we lose Capela, it would be because someone like PHX offered him a max. I still think we match if we don't go for LeBron though.
