I'm still waiting for the first CFB playoff game in Lambeau or Soldier.

CFB already kind of does this for their bowl games; not many are outside in bad weather.

Neutral field games are different for me. I’d rather it be good conditions or in a dome if it’s a Super Bowl or a bowl game because the point is kind of to even out things to see who the best team is that are supposed to be coming in on equal footing.

I remember everyone clamoring for the Super Bowl to take place in a bad weather stadium, then they did it for the Broncos-Seattle super bowl and it fricking sucked and the NFL will likely never do it again

Bowl games are also meant to be a reward to the team and a fun travel experience for fans. Bowl games want attendance and their local sponsors want tourism dollars.

I would think that the NFL will never put another SB in a place where bad conditions could come up.... but the NFL has been played for 100 years and before the SB arrived the championship game was played outdoors no matter the weather.... players were not pampered back then like they are now.......

The better team usually wins in shite weather

either they earned the right to play in elements they are used to or the away team is just that good to overcome it.

I don't mind crap weather, but I do get rustled when the field is garbage. Speaking of which, why doesn't Snyder pay for some Field Turf? That place is always a mess. There should be no grass other than maybe Lambeau, Soldier, and south/west coast climates.

I think they lucked out and it was pretty mild for the game, then stormed right after. It was a blowout unaffected by the weather, anyway.

part of your reward for having a better record is getting games at your home stadium.

I'd like to see a poll on what players actually like.

I don't care either way, but it's false to say that better record = home field.

While I don’t disagree with this.... it’s the way the NFL is set up and it’s not gonna change.......

If stadiums were available, it would have started indoors

It didn’t rain but I believe the wind was pretty crazy during the game, gave a pretty big advantage to the Seahawks as a ground and pound team playing a pass first team against the Broncos.

Plus the real issue is how much the bad weather effected the events surrounding the Super Bowl. No one wants to go freeze their arse off for that.
