I think the team would be hated even more if Bron was on it.

I think most people’s issue is with Pop and how soft these nba guys are when they don’t have refs constantly bailing them out.

It’s a joke. You can no longer call NBA Champs, “World Champs”. Although considering Giannis is on the Bucks, maybe a team led by him instead of your typical soft US stars would fare better.

Only way that’s possible if they are still that bad with him on the floor.

Yeah you can because every top player, including the foreign ones who are now beating Team USA, play in the NBA. The NBA DPOY was France’s center.

The league has the best talent from every part of the world.

His burner accounts will be working overtime from the shite he’s gonna catch for these performances.

Odd because FIBA is notorious for terrible officiating.

I think both leagues are pretty notorious for bad officiating. But on the whole, they are led by 2 different schools of thought.

1 league allows stars to create contact and get ft’s or get accidentally grazed across the elbow with a pinky and get fts.

The other is no blood, no foul. Which oddly enough is how the NBA officials actually officiate someone like Zion, so he’s probably one of the few players in the league equipped for this physical brand of basketball. Another guy who gets zero calls is Jrue and I don’t think it’s a coincidence that he seems to be the only player on Team USA that can handle contact.

Just not a likeable bunch up there tbh. And what’s even worse is these guys hang out together for a month and then all decide to join up on super teams. Beal and Dame are likely going to demand trades soon. And I wouldn’t be surprised if Lavine does the same in the near future.

Durant, Booker, Jrue, Middleton, Tatum, JaVale and Dame are all pretty likable.

Considering half if not more of the league is foreign, i would argue the NBA has more of a claim to the world champion label. The NFL, should never call the Super Bowl winner, world champions. There are not any foreign players in the nfl. If there are, it's less than 5%.

Durant is not likable His online presence can be summed up as "sensitive"

Meh…he came back from the most devastating injury to an athlete and still at the peak of his powers.

That’s inspiring.

And in context we’re really talking about the difference between the Nets and The Champs was Durant’s toes on the line.

whaaaaaaaaaaaaat

I mean, I'm firmly in the camp of Durant being a generational talent, but he's in no way likable. In his early career, sure, but after OKC he let it be known that he's a massive whiner. Dude sucks as a human.

Still a really fantastic basketball player, and I love to see him play. I hope he has another good 6-8 years in the league for that reason only.

The best NFL team is the best football team in the world. Hence, world champs.

The same is true for MLB, NBA, and NHL in North America.
