"Oh, he is being blackballed. That's a no-brainer," Kerr said of Kaepernick, whom he has never met. "All you have to do is read the transactions every day, when you see the quarterbacks who are being hired. He's way better than any of them.

"But the NFL has a different fan base than the NBA. The NBA is more urban, the NFL is more conservative, and I think a lot of NFL fans are truly angry at Kaepernick, and I think owners are worried what it's going to do to business."

You know, I used to really like Steve Kerr. Now he just comes across as a whiney bitch all the time.

The NFL has basically sold itself out so much that it's basically a 5th branch of the Armed Forces these days.

Anyone who honestly believes Kaep should be picked up after all that has happened with the NFL in the last month has zero business acumen.

He’s appealing to his base.

You have to be all encompassing. The real “fact” is that he’s not good enough to have to put up with everything else that comes with him. Lots of players throughout history have been “better” than guys still playing. They just need to be greatly better to put up with their baggage as well

Why would any owner in the world hire someone who would make their revenue decrease? Why is this such a hard concept?

Leftists entire political philosophy is based on spending other people's money. Why wouldn't they virtue signal by volunteering someone else to take the hit by hiring him?

I feel like this is the key component many people miss in the Kap saga. If he comes in and wins an extra game or two for a shite team it's not worth it if you're pissing off even 20 percent or so of your fan base.

Blackballing usually implies some type of collusion, and I simply don't believe that has occurred.

Has he ever looked around the stands at a game? There are a whole lot of middle aged white men attending NBA games, especially in the lower bowl of arenas.

if you're telling me Christian Hackenberg is a better QB than Colin Kaepernick then you need to go back to football kindergarten

Let’s be honest many of these sports figures claiming “blackballed” likely don’t even know the definition of the term so they’re just throwing it around like candy to sound smart
