Kentucky's harassment of refs last year

After last year's loss in the tourney Kentucky's radio broadcast team advised the fans to harass one of the refs. It worked, and the ref had to shut down his business as a result. Did that affect the refs this year?
K State was playing physical but so was kent and they had almost double the free throws. K State should have won that game by double digits
