He's happy with low expectations and not winning. Congrats, Ken.

It's hard to explain, but from the moment Houston got him I got this vibe from him like he was not comfortable with the team and didn't fit in.

I don't know what it was... it was just a vibe I got from him.

It's crazy to basically hear him say that himself and it means whatever instinct I had about him from the beginning was correct.

Ken Giles is the Jimmy Butler of the MLB. Wants to be babied and catered to all the time, and if not, they act like little bitches, and the teams they like to play for, are the worst teams in the league where they have zero shot at success or winning. That is the definition of a loser mentality. Good fricking riddance Giles.

He felt out of place because he was the shittiest pitcher on the team

Yup, glad he’s gone. Never quite bought into Hinch nor the team. Glad he’s “happy” with no shot of another WS in the near future.

Hes comfy in Toronto because they'll never ask him to come in during a pressure situation because they'll be down 3 runs after the 4th half the time. No worries about self inflicted dental bills. Dumbass.

He only thinks its better in Toronto because they don't ask him to do anything because they're not a good team.

The only good team Ken Giles has ever been on is coincidentally the same team he felt "out of place".

Closers that can’t close usually feel out of place.

They both needed a change of scenery from one another. It's not like he's throwing the Astros under the bus here. He just didn't feel comfortable there and I'm sure the Astros were happy to move on from him. Everyone won.

Some bitter Astros fans here.

Probably because of his abmysal performance in the playoffs. Most people didn't boo, but a decent amount did when he was announced. Pretty shitty thing to do at a victory parade iyam
