No doubt this guy has already lawyered up and is ready to roll when K-State expels him.

This. He 100% wants this to happen so he can sue the university, so I don’t see him getting expelled. It will be interesting to see if the players actually follow through.

No, the university hasn't said much other than release this statement.

quote:

Disciplinary sanctions for a student depends upon which university policy has been found to be in violation:

– If the student is found by an Administrative Review Team to be responsible for violating the University’s Discrimination and Harassment policy, sanctions are recommended by an Administrative Review Team to the Director of Student Life.

– The university President receives recommendations for suspension or dismissal for students to be found responsible by a Student Review Board for violating the Student Code of Conduct.

– For students found in violation of the university’s Threat Management policy, the Director of Student Life serving as the Critical Incident Response Team chair has the ability to determine expulsion.

We do not disclose disciplinary actions taken with students due to privacy regulations.

I don't think his tweet would fall under the first or the third violations, 2nd would depend on the Student Code of Conduct.

However he has received multiple tweets and text from students, that would violated the Threat Management policy which can lead to expulsion.

Didn’t Navy kick K- State’s arse in a bowl game last year? How embarrassing.

Hope this kid gets a good lawyer and balls out on this until the end. He’s becoming enough a public figure to make a name for himself in a good way. If he’s willing to sacrifice himself at KSU, but also take out many other students who made threats, he will get admitted to another institution.

Didn't LSU kick a kid out for saying some crazy stuff while he was in high school? If so, I would think you could kick an existing student out.

That kid LSU kicked out said he hated (you know what). This guy made a joke about a known addict/criminal. Big difference.

He was still in HS. He never enrolled at LSU I believe.

They denied his admission, they didn't kick him out.

No they didn't, he voluntarily withdrew.

If LSU denied admission to Dollar, law experts say, the former incoming student could sue the universities claiming violations of First Amendment rights, and, due to protections of speech in the U.S. Constitution, the student would likely win such a lawsuit.

They won’t expel him for this. They will read through every social media post he has ever made and “encourage” anyone who has ever felt personally threatened or harassed by him to tell the investigators their story. They’ll expel him once they have enough evidence, real or fake, to at least significantly muddy the waters about why he was kicked out if he decides to go to court

Which is why he needs to screenshot every threatening message he receives and reports it to campus authorities AND the legitimate LE in his area. If they kick him out but daily to do the same or worse to other students, get paid son.

KSU will not expel him. Seems the 1st Amendment survives the SJW mob and lives to fight another day.

KSU Announcement

Bump

Players end the boycott, the student was not expelled.
