“I feel like people are complaining about kneeling and people are complaining about standing, but I feel like it’s pointless,” he said. “They’re not changing anything, and I feel like prayer changes everything.
“So I was praying before the game. Because I pray that we come together as one instead of being separate.
“You’ve got guys standing and kneeling. What are you kneeling for? What’s going to change? Prayer is power. So I believe if we pray together, the more we get together, we come together as one in prayer, we can make a change.”

He could have prayed before and then stood with his hand over his heart

Can someone actually win a day?

Idk about the prayer part, but I completely agree with this.
No one is talking about the issue anymore, they're simply talking about the means of protest and other people's response to that act of protest.
This shite is so dumb and pointless.

Man, you atheists really are Debbie downers.
We get it, you don't believe in a higher power.
The dude is taking a middle ground of peace and you make fun of him. That's weak.

Won how?
Pretty sure slave owners believed in God.
Pretty sure slaves prayed.
So no...Prayed does not bring equality. Just a stupid point. He is right, this kneeling is non sense. Prayer isn't going to fix anything thought.

Prayer itself probably won't fix shite. And neither you, nor I, use prayer to better ourselves.
But if Houston can parlay his beliefs into good then why would you put him down?

Yeah, I love how to mentions prayer can make changes, which is true, but I'm not sure praying during the anthem is the right move here.

So he still knelt during the Anthem?
