@CharlesRobinson Key here for the #Dolphins...Brian Flores comes out of the New England franchise where he spent time as both an evaluator and a coach, learning the value of a smart players/quarterbacks. #Patriots loved Josh Rosen’s smarts. No doubt Flores was very familiar with the evaluation.

I have no comment on flores one way or the other, but I mean the above just kinda seems like common sense.

Agreed.

Miami held fast and gave up a mid-to-late 2nd for a guy drafted around 11th last year.

They probably could have gotten an even better deal but why press your luck?

Ehh... that's a first round QB whose previous team gave u on after just one year.

Seems like a push at best to me.

His signing bonus has already been paid. They have him for four years at a very low price. Very cap friendly

If he develops that is a huge opportunity for Miami

Smart move for them.

No one bats an eye if you move on from a 2nd rounder QB

But if he’s a franchise QB then they got a HUGE steal.

That's a pretty big if considering his former team gave up on him after a single season.

Brand new coach who is an offensive guru and wants his guy.

The changes to rookie contracts have actually made it feasible to do this now since everything was paid out last season.

It helps that the former team is the Cardinals.

How is this a push? You even listed a reason why Miami wins.
