Hopefully he can get back to where he was.

True, in a sense, but no sober person would act like that in those pictures.
I guess we will see what he says about this. According to the Dallas Morning News, he knows the pictures exist.

I think like a previous poster showed, there are several quotes in that post. Granted they are from anonymous people, but if you take the quotes and look at the pictures, it doesn't take a detective to realize that something is terribly wrong here.

I think that there is something terribly wrong with accepting something at face value from a gossip web site.

We will see if it is true. I hope it isn't, but this doesn't look good.
I guess this could be from pre 2005. The photos do look grainy and dated. I hope that is the case.

I really hope this is the case too, he doesnt look quite as big as he is now so that could mean these photos are before he got clean...I also dont trust Deadspin

DS just said the Rangers press guy sent them a message saying Hamilton is going to acknowledge the existence of the photos. Soooooooo....yeah.

Still, much ado about nothing. He slipped and made a mistake seven months ago. It's rather interesting that this story has come out now, when the Rangers are in a playoff chase.
Also, the Rangers knew about it the next day, and have not disciplined him.
So let it be what it is: Something that happened several months ago that can happen to anyone who is struggling. That he did not completely fall off and descend into the abyss is testament to his devotion.
So he had a slip up. Proves that, like the rest of us, he's human.
Judge not, lest ye be judged.
Go to the August 8 entry.
