Thats just what we want. MORE politics in sports.
You aren't forced to watch it. There's either a true market for this or there isn't. The public will decide soon enough. 100% chance Jemele Hill is their first hire.

there was a market for outkick..."keep the politics out of sports...well you can have them, just make sure I agree with them" guy. Really just appealing to natural sports fans, conservative males.
Who exactly is this targeting? The transgenders who feel left out of sports coverage?
While I agree and think this will fail, I also think most people in this thread are looking at this wrong. There is nothing wrong with more options, and at least the people who enjoy progressive politics with their sports can seek this option out, hopefully preventing the rest of us from having it shoved down our throats unwanted from the more mainstream platforms.

Actually already have Amin Elhassan and are in talks with Chris Long too.

You’re not wrong but I don’t think this market is very big. You can’t run a sports network without white, straight males, that’s just a fact.
And I’m not saying this will purposefully exclude those people but it’s pretty obvious it will be geared towards people who aren’t straight and white and male.

Outkick has an audience it’s trying to reach, and the content does that. This Lebatard idea is trying to reach the same audience of Outkick, with the goal of pissing them off. It’s a proven failure of an idea, but their egos tell them it will work.

Just like Clay Travis, that's going to be annoying.
At least Outkick is a counterculture to the current vast landscape of sports media.

Does this mean their content will be given free to the masses in long "soup lines"?

I’d argue Dave Chappelle is more famous now than he ever has been
People used to make a point to go home to watch new episodes of the Chappelle Show. His last appearance on SNL was a flop.

The new venture is described as the strategic opposite of Clay Travis’ Outkick, sources told Front Office Sports.
He's obsessed with Clays success.
Let it go

What does it matter if its counterculture or not?
Using sports for political commentary is still annoying.

The reason I stopped listening to Lebatard was after George Floyd when he was taking the 'I told you America was racist' victory lap.
I'm sure he supported his opinion with many facts from the trial. Oh wait, it hasn't happened yet

Would be awesome if they could gather all of the left wing nutjobs in one place, so that they are easier to avoid.
