I don't get why the Penn State students are not in an uproar over this? Their message boards/blogs are all behind Joe Pa and I don't mean just the football ones.

quote:Exactly. I had a hunch that this end of season retirement crap was a desperate attempt by Paterno to avoid being fired today by the BOT. No way he coaches another game.
That's why I have decided to announce my retirement effective at the end of this season. At this moment the Board of Trustees should not spend a single minute discussing my status. They have far more important matters to address. I want to make this as easy for them as I possibly can.

correct. this is step 1.

Joe is unwilling to accept any responsibilty in this and will not cooperate with teh BOT at all. He's on his own holed up in his 1950's ranch house with his fat son eating canoli. Oblivious to the real world

JoPa is a 3 point dog at home in his very last home game against a poorly coached Bo Pelini Nebraska team....I'm taking +3 for the easy win.

Sends chills up my spine. No doubt in my mind this creep was abusing foster kids systematically. ZERO DOUBT (these are my words not spielman)
My girlfriend works very near this system, and this is definitely true. She meets regularly with law enforcement on these issues.

NO! because they took certain "steps" to keep him away from more children...obviously not that they were enforced
They took no steps to keep him away from more children. Absolutely none. All they did was claim they tried to keep him from raping children at their campus. That is the most disgusting part.
A serial child rapist, and instead of turning him in, you say to him "Don't do this around here anymore".
Do people realize how pathetic JoePa and the PSU people are in this?

They should then spend the next few years tracking all the families and promise to testify on their behalf when the school is being sued.

These people are morally bankrupt soulless POS..... McQuery probably felt that Sanduscky should be allowed finish out his rape job before taking action.
Hey PSU...Doing the right thing shouldnt be this hard.

Joe Pa is proving to be a complete fraud.

"Hey Jerry, you got to cut out that horseplay in teh showers huh? I mean geez jerry, come on now."

My thing is why was this sick frick even allowed on campus after 2002. They didn't even try to cut ties with him. On big nothing to see here move along.
Because he was running his charity supposedly from the office they gave him, where they gave him lists of Penn St. boosters he could get money from. The charity and the school were all in bed together.

I have a feeling when everything comes out, JoPa will no longer be looked upon as a saint....
the amount of nepotism tied in with the Penn State program is amazing....what would you think if Les Miles' brother was on the LSU radio network? Jo Pa's is!!!!

Congrats Joe. You gave a shite about your university and players, but God help the little children right? I mean, you stood up for your rapist monster of a DC, your players that raped women, but God forbid you step up for innocent Kids that weren't a part of your university.
God this man is pathetic and I hope he rots in hell.

All those currently involved in this cover-up will live the rest of their lives in shame knowing that they put the reputation of Penn St. ahead of children being molested. They will go to bed at night & wake up every morning knowing that they're complete moral failures.

It won't take nearly that long. Unless you mean how he is viewed by the PSU students and some alumni.
