Is there anything more cringe than Rome asking these idiots how they felt after some play or some recent event? It’s like a high school kid writing for his school newspaper thinking up the most generic questions you can ask the jock without having to think proactively.

He has a formula that has worked for 20 years

Why would he change? He has the premier national radio spot on CBS and has one of the most dedicated followings in radio

It's not as stupid as the IDIOT "reporters" whose goto first question is "What was going through your mind when...."

Obviously, that question is taught on day one of Journalism 101 class.

And I have never understood it.
To each his own, but I can't stand him. He repeats himself constantly, is arrogant, and obviously loves to hear himself talk.
If you like him, great, but I will pass.

I loved him when I was between the ages of 16-21. That was a long time ago and I can’t stand hearing his shtick now.

I watch games for entertainment but interviews are far less entertaining. There’s nothing these morons can say that will make me think watching their interview was a productive use of my time.

Same goes for musicians and actors.

It’s a lot like porn. I don’t care what they think.

But I did watch Rome when I was in college. It filled a void in my under-developed life at the time.

Good lord, I see why Rinaldi always makes everyone cry, because when he smiles it looks like a chainsaw in his mouth

If Romey and Michelle Tafoya went on a date, the conversation would look something like this:

JR:“What was going through your mind when I asked you out?”

MT:“What was going through your mind when i said ‘yes’”?

MT:“What was going through your mind when you looked at the wine menu?”

JR:“What was going through your mind when we finished dessert?”

MT: “What was going through your mind when I said ‘coffee’ enthusiastically

JR: “DUDE…i was totally thinking about, you know, wink wink.”

Etc
