I believe he is the only coach to reach 1000 wins twice.

Like K and Jay Wright, tired of the NIL/transfer portal nonsense

He’s also pretty old, it was probably time even without the NIL stuff.

He coached the best college basketball team of all time.

That 2003 team with Carmelo Anthony could have easily defeated some NBA teams that year.

K and Wright are younger and were still good. Boeheim lost his fastball a decade ago.

Boeheim had the Orange in the Final Four in 2013 and 2016. So no, he didn't lose it a decade ago. The past few years have not been up to snuff, though.

They were definitely the big 12 champs. I think they beat OU, OSU in the tourney and then Texas and KU in the final 4.

2016 they were a 10 seed that got hot and played a 7,15, and 11 until the Elite Eight. The entire Big East run he had 13 double digit loss seasons. Since joining the ACC in 13-14 he's had 9. I'll say he lost it 9 years ago if it floats your boat.

He was a complete jerk at the post game presser today. Grade A NE a-hole all around.

I'm laughing.

Saying easily, well....it's not a good look. That's a nice way to put it.

That Uconn/Syracuse OT game is still one of the greatest basketball games ever played.
