It come down to him and Don Nelson probably. I think it is close but Sloan's two Finals appearances puts him over Nellie

Fam, MDA is the best coach to never win a title. Robbed of one by tGOAT Warriors. Hardwn will win at least one for him, tho, so I can understand why you left him off.

Greet coach who would have probably gotten a title with the Jazz if not for the MJ Bulls. RIP.

Damn, this hurts. I had a lot of fond memories growing up as the only non-Mormon Utah Jazz fan in Mississippi. Easily my favorite coach of all-time across all sports.

Yep, I loved that guy, that 90's/early 2000's Jazz team is still my favorite NBA team all time, and Karl Malone is my all time favorite player. When LSU played Texas Tech in Houston in the Texas Bowl, I was standing in line for the restroom before the game. I had never been to the stadium so I was just looking around checking everything out, when I turned back around this giant dude walks out past me, I felt like I was looking straight up at him. I instantly realized it was Karl Malone. I was 31 at the time, but instantly turned into a little 10 year old and started with "Mr. Malone! Mr. Malone! Mr. Malone!" lol. He turned around and shook my hand, and I just looked at the guy standing in line behind me and he goes "That was frickin cool". I'll always remember that simple little moment lol.

Class act all the way, built off Layden's foundation to make the Jazz truly contenders and relevant to remain in Utah, also great player with the Bulls

I never really liked the Utah teams, but Jerry just always seemed like an awesome guy. I don't think I ever heard a bad thing about him.
