I like how he just airs his issues with Fleck out.

He’s right, Minnesota totally had things figured out.

Why would Jimbo want to keep Trickett around with his terrible reputation as OL coach?

29-29 at Minnesota.
Fleck will finish his time at Minnesota with a better record than that, IMO.

That's not bad for Minnesota. He had to rebuild after the Brewster disaster

Pretty ironic that Jerry has a huge axe to grind but could never win one while he was here.

When you consider he had like 3-4 OOC G5/FCS rent a wins every year, 29-29 is pretty bad.

Kill and Tracy Claeys left a decent program for Fleck. It wasn't some shite pile. The only reason Kill's coaching tenure there ended was b/c of the seizures he started having.

didnt he have to start a walk on qb this year and isnt like over half the program freshmen and sophomores? i was reading minnesota boards the past couple of minutes and it seems like they believe claeys left a dumpster fire and it kinda makes sense but idk

Fleck already has more bowl wins at Minnesota than Kill

Under Kill they went 3-9, 6-7 8-5, 8-5, 4-3 (resigned due to the seizures) then Claeys took over going 2-4 and 9-4.

In those 6 seasons they went to 5 bowls and won 2. If they were down to walk ons and freshmen in Fleck's first year I'm betting that was more due to him processing kids than being left with nothing.
