Day is literally doing the same thing Meyer did at OSU with similar records every year
Besides making the Big Ten Championship every single year (minus his first season where they had a postseason ban), never losing to Michigan, and winning a national championship, yeah pretty similar results.

Well just leave out Meyer losing games to unranked teams by 30, and having some sort of "scandal" every stop he's been and leaving Florida in a terrible situation.
Michigan was terrible for most of Meyer's time there. They had at least 3 losses every year Meyer was there. 4 of those years they lost 5 games.
Michigan lost 3 games combined the past 3 years.
They were not good this year and that is for sure a bad loss

is this worse than Tom Herman ?

I don’t give a frick about these types of losses. It happened twice. I’ll trade that with running a train on Michigan for 7 years.

Ryan Day just literally lost to the worst Michigan team in decades with an Ohio State squad that has more talent than any of Urban’s squads. Hell, it’s probably the worst Ohio State loss in the history of the rivalry.
I don’t want Urban back either. But to act like Day is on any semblance of equal footing in terms of his coaching performance so far is completely wrong.

Holy shite, a Buckeye fan who isn't damaged.

So what is more important, making the playoffs or beating Michigan??

And I want to have sex with the gorgeous Marisa Tomei. It's as realistic as Urban going back to Ohio State.

Imagine still believing this in 2024.

I despise the Wolverines as much as any Ohio State Fan, but I would rather have National Championships, if I had to choose.

Every rational person would agree.
Back in the day, you basically had to beat Michigan to make a bowl game of any kind (Rose Bowl only days). But if you wanted to win a national title, you had to beat Michigan.
Ryan Day would have been fired walking off the field if that was the layout of the post season.
Times have changed.

Meyer was having heart problems and headaches in 2009, when it was a much simpler time in CFB.
I think someone like UM sees NIL money flying around and the transfer portal and believes he can get what he needs much more quickly than when he left.

Are you under the impression that Urban wouldn't have Ohio State in a 12 team playoff every year, while also beating Michigan?

OSU played in the B1G CG in 2015 and 2016? Must be news to Michigan State and Penn State.

I know nothing about this guy, why does he feel the need to spill these type of beans?? If I’m Urban Meyer, and this isn’t info that I want public (true or not), I’d be furious with this loudmouth POS

I think Ryan Day is better equipped to handle 2024 CFB than Meyer is.
