PSU had it 1st 10 at Indiana 15 with 1:50 left and Indiana had one timeout. Indiana let them score and instead of kneeling down at the 1 for the auto win they scored and ended up losing in OT

Perhaps a Kentucky fan can verify, but I vaguely remember Syracuse doing the same thing in the Music City Bowl a long time ago. They were up 14-13 with a minute left, and Kentucky let them score. The Syracuse coach, Paul Pasqualoni, compounded the problem, though, by trying to go for two. 
But this was obviously more epic because Indiana actually made Penn St. pay.
