"Hey Coach, you got a spot for me?"

"Sorry Tim, you've been out of the game for awhile and we just drafted a QB."

"Well, if you don't sign me I'll tell everyone about the time you......."

"How does a 1 year deal at TE sound Tim?"

I would say he had zero shot at making the 53 man roster but I just looked at that depth chart and woof.

They should throw a mid round pick at the Eagles for Ertz

I was in undergrad at LSU. I hated UF like every other LSU fan does.

I still have his phone number from 2007, I'm gonna shoot him a text and let him know you think that.

he seems like a good dude IRL.

He comes off as a good dude but he is still a massive attention whore that continues to find ways to get people to talk about him.

Where are all the "Urban is gonna win in the NFL b/c he's won everywhere" people at? I said back when he was rumored to take the Jags job that he wasn't gonna just go into the NFL and win and I got downvoted into oblivion for it. The NFL is a different animal, and you just can't hire your buddies from college and expect to win.

Urban will fail in the NFL.

He had a legit future as an Hback type if he had done this early in his NFL career. I’m not sure if he’s just dumb or that self centered to where he didn’t want to do it but a big career mistake waiting until he’s 33/34 to do this. If it wasn’t Meyer I’m guessing he doesn’t get the chance

People love to say this with so much confidence, with no real evidence or reason why he would be

It really does make sense for them from a marketing perspective. There’s already hype around the team with Meyer and Lawrence coming in, pairing them up with Meyer’s most successful player at Florida only adds to it.

As far as on field, we’ll have to wait and see. Tebow is still in great shape, still a world class athlete, and still a great leader. He could play a similar role to Taysom Hill and be successful, same that’s always been true of him in the NFL.

This reminds me of how much of a rumor/storyline the Tebow to jax thing was during his pro days rumors pre draft that Jacksonville would take him just to sell tickets, then when he was a street free agent they always had him going there. Felt like it was a “done deal” like 10 times and never happened
